The Lirpaloof Bird

Today we went out to look for the very rare lirpaloof bird.  It can only be seen at the beginning of April.  We tried calling it and holding up carrots but we did not catch a glimpse of the bright bird.  Maybe next year:)

STEM Challenge

Today we celebrated the end of March by making wind powered mazes.

St. Patrick’s Day Fun

Today we celebrated St. Patrick’s Day.  We read a story about what leprechauns do and we wrote about why we think we are lucky.  This afternoon we did some coding on the computer and built rainbow bridges.  Some of our bridges were successful and held the gold.  Some did not work but we learned a little more about supports that bridges need:)

Read Across America Week

We celebrated Dr. Seuss this week with some daily fun!  We wore hats, dressed in green, wore our clothes inside out or backwards, wore crazy socks, and wore shirts with places on them.  Oh what fun we had!
