Lever Launchers

Today we read the book, We're All Wonders.  We learned an important message about how to treat people who are different.  The boy in the story puts on a space helmet when people hurt his feelings.  To help us remember this lesson we made astronauts and then created levers to launch them.  It was a fantastic Friday!

Dot Day

Today we celebrated International Dot Day.  It is inspired by the book, The Dot.  The book is about a girl who believes that she can't draw.  With a little encouragement from her teacher she becomes motivated and eventually gains confidence and realizes she is a creative artist.
